ojnyla

back to scripts page

ojnyla is a writing system for fynotek. it's the immature equivalent to ojnym. in a hypothetical fynotek society, small children would use ojnyla as an introduction to writing, then transition over to ojnym once they're preteens. it is a simplified version of ojnym, as the name would imply.

ojnyla is an alphabet, written left to right + top to bottom. each sound has its own letter, but when words are conjugated, the last vowel is replaced with a letter indicating the conjugation. in addition, verbs get suffixes to show the person of the subject.

punctuation marks for the tone of the sentence. any non-contradictory punctuation marks can be stacked (i.e. positive + negative isn't allowed, but positive + question is).
