lesson 6: prepositions and conjunctions

prepositions and conjunctions in fynotek work very similarly to how they work in english. prepositional phrases go at the end of sentences by default (with special particles, they can go at the beginning instead, but we’ll learn more about that in lesson 8).

when listing multiple things using conjunctions, you cannot list them with commas; you must include the conjunction between every item. for example, instead of “x, y, and z,” you would need to say “x and y and z.”

here are all of the prepositions:

in: during
nep: for, because of
nu: towards
ot: from
poriu: via
sy: made out of
ñes: in
ñue: on/at

and here are all of the conjunctions:

ew: and (“ewew” can mean “etc” in lists that use “ew”)
fao: or (“faofao” can mean “etc” in lists that use “fao”)
oni: so, therefore
rek: but
yf: or else
